In an event held today at La Casa del Fútbol, in Toluca, the graduation ceremony was held for graduates of the Toluca campus of the National Training System (SNC) of the Mexican Football Federation (FMF), for the 2020-2022 school year.
At the ceremony, 113 graduates of the training programs in technical direction, physical trainers, and professional refereeing were awarded their degrees. Nationwide, 433 people graduated from the 16 SNC campuses.
Yon de Luisa, president of the FMF; Javier Sánchez Bures, general director of Operations of the FMF; Armando Archundia, president of The Referees Committee and Boris Ferrer, director of the National Training System, presided over the event.
The difficulties brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic led the SNC to rethink and innovate in better and more effective ways of distance learning and in a hybrid format. With this teaching-learning model, 433 students nationwide graduated in 2022 from the 16 SNC campuses throughout Mexico.
"A new generation of professionals in our sport gives us the certainty that as FMF we continue to promote the practice of football in our country with the best professionals that exist, who are also aware of the transformative power and inspirational force they possess," said Yon de Luisa in his congratulatory message.
"The constant professionalization brings us closer to the goal we have set for 2026: to become one of the eight best federations in the world. Congratulations on the start of your careers, which I am sure will positively transform Mexican football", added the president of the FMF.
For his part, Armando Archundia congratulated the graduates, pointing out that obtaining their degree is the key that opens the door to professional refereeing.
"At The Referees Committee, we work hard to continually improve the level of our refereeing to continue demonstrating why we are among the elite worldwide. Constant training, knowing how to capitalize on the tools we have such as VAR and now the offside line, but above all being comprehensively prepared will help us achieve this goal."
Javier Sánchez Bures congratulated and recognized the effort and dedication that each one invested in achieving this goal.
"At SNC we are constantly working and innovating to update training programs and ensure that our students have the best of the best in their preparation, which will allow them to become referents in our industry. Congratulations to our new technical directors, physical trainers, and referees".
Finally, Boris Ferrer wished all the new graduates a long and productive career that will fill them with satisfaction and constant learning.
"I want to reiterate my congratulations to all of you for having completed this stage of your training with excellence, which will contribute to the growth and development of Mexican football!,
Divided into four blocks, the 113 graduates of the 2020-2022 generation of the National Training System, Toluca Campus, received their degrees in person: 68 technical directors, 18 physical trainers, and 27 professional referees.
