2026 Vision
At Federación Mexicana de Fútbol, we have great foundations that have allowed us to have considerable achievements for 95 years. From the creation of the Mexican National Team in 1923 and its affiliation to FIFA in 1929 to Mexico's recent candidature to host a FIFA World Cup for the third time, together with Canada and the United States, for 2026, becoming the only country in the world to host three World Cups within its territory, after 1970 and 1986.
In recent years, we underwent a restructuring to strengthen our work and the way in which we present and promote it in order to benefit our environment and reputation. With this new structure, and the support of our collaborators, we have obtained important results based on four cornerstones: sports success, sports justice, institutional relations, and social responsibility.
As part of our evolution, today those cornerstones have become five strategic drivers, including the effective and comprehensive innovation, which are the driving forces of our organization and will help us to achieve our vision: TO BE AMONG THE TOP 8 IN THE WORLD.
