FMF Official statement

The Mexican Football Federation strongly condemns and regrets the acts of violence following our last match in Santa Clara.

We will cooperate and join efforts with Concacaf, stadiums and Local Authorities, to prevent these acts from being repeated in any stadium. We are certain that the relevant authorities will take the necessary measures to ensure that those responsible will be brought to justice and prevent these incidents from reoccurring.

We take this opportunity to wish a full recovery to those who were injured or affected.

Stadiums are family spaces and therefore must be a safe place for everyone.
