The Disciplinary Committee informs

The Disciplinary Committee reports that, as a result of the events that took place before, during and after the end of the match played between Club Guadalajara vs Tigres de la UANL, on Sunday 28 May 2023, corresponding to the second leg of the Final of the Clausura 2023 LIGA MX Tournament. 

This Commission has decided to sanction Club Guadalajara, as it transgressed article 48 of the FMF Sanctioning Regulations, which establishes that the home Club is responsible for the improper conduct of the Supporters' Groups and the general public attending the Stadiums on the occasion of official and friendly matches organized by the FMF or international Confederations or FIFA Tournaments.

Therefore, Club Guadalajara will be sanctioned financially and will be forbidden access to its supporters' group for the next official match played at home in the Apertura 2023 Tournament.

Finally, Club Guadalajara is warned that if this type of action is committed again, the Disciplinary Committee may impose more severe sanctions against it.

Disciplinary Committee
