The Mexican Football Federation informs about Yon de Luisa's decision.

Today, the president of the Mexican Soccer Federation, Yon de Luisa, informed all members of the Owners' Assembly of his decision not to run for re-election as president of the FMF for the 2023-2026 term, so that whoever occupies this position will be in line with the FMF's new vision and objectives.

The next Owners' Assembly is scheduled to take place in May, in the meantime, Yon de Luisa maintains his responsibilities as the head of the FMF.

Yon de Luisa reiterated his commitment to football in Mexico and will continue to fulfill the positions conferred upon him as a member of the FIFA and Concacaf Boards.
